Charter Overview

La Paz, Baja Sur, is a fascinating two-hour drive from the world-famous Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. La Paz is the great undiscovered fishing area of the Sea of Cortez. (Gulf of California). The Baja peninsula is over a thousand miles long. It begins just below San Diego and projects almost straight south into tropical waters. Cabo is located at the southern Pacific tip. La Paz, the capital of Baja Sur, is located on the opposite side of the narrow Baja peninsula. The inland sea is a gigantic fish trap. Here the waters are typically more calm, warmer, and are not fished as heavily as offshore of the Cabo area.

Fish are abundant throughout the inland sea, and fishing is available year-round. Whether it’s dorado, yellowtail, tuna, sailfish, wahoo, grouper, snapper, marlin, skipjack, roosterfish, sea bass, sierras, etc., La Paz is a premier spot for fishing these varieties. FURTHERMORE, the fishing areas we frequent are considered fully sustainable at current sports fishing levels! This is a huge difference from much of the world’s fishing locations.

The waters extending up inside the Baja peninsula are some of the most active in the world for sea life. From the inside southern tip of the Baja and extending straight north to Loreto, are 23 deserted islands that serve as fishing meccas. Outside these island perimeters are reefs, shoals, and corals. Just beyond, are the deep blue waters that are home to some of the best and most desired sport fishing species on the planet!

Private Charters and Shared Tours

Baja Charters provides PREMIER Private Charters, and the top-rated Shared Tours in our area. Five-star rated we are NOT a typical tour company. We provide a private yacht experience with first class service and amenities. No one does it like we do for anything close to our prices.

Guests are able to visit beautiful, isolated locations that are experienced by only the fortunate few. We provide ALL INCLUSIVE cruising to remote coves and beaches in the Gulf of California, known outside the US as the Sea of Cortez. This area is famously known as the World’s Aquarium, dubbed so by the famous oceanographer Jacque Cousteau. According to Nature.Org, the inside Sea of Cortez is the second most biologically diverse marine environment on the planet. An intimate cruise features snorkeling with sea lions, an array of tropical fish over shallow tropical reefs, swimming with whale sharks in season, strolling remote beaches, exploring, paddle boarding, kayaking, scuba, etc.

Baja Charters provides quality chef-prepared meals on board with an open bar, served by a skilled and educated crew. A marine biologist is typically on board as hostess and snorkel leader. Everything is included: snorkel gear, wet suits, kayaks, and paddleboards, along with an assist boat for getting up close to sea life in its natural environment. Reef-friendly sunscreen, bottled water, beer, sodas, and a variety of snacks are all provided, along with private bathrooms, fresh towels, and private showers. Join us, for the Experience of a Lifetime.
